'Bones' season 12 spoilers: Wedding and multiple funerals up ahead for 12th and final season?
Fox has just officially released the synopsis of "Bones" season 12, teasing the plot for the final season. From the looks of it, the show will feature many memorable moments when it comes back on air for the last time in 2017.
The stage has been set for an unforgettable series finale for "Bones," and it looks like the creative team is leaving no stone unturned to ensure they give the fans the best of what they deserve. It will be recalled that season 11 ended on a cliffhanger, with Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) kidnapped by her former intern Zack Addy (Eric Millegan).
Apparently, the upcoming season will show viewers where Zack is coming from and whether he is The Puppeteer, the serial killer the Jeffersonian team has been after for a while, or not. Check out the recently released synopsis from Fox:
"The final season's 12-episode run will celebrate the inventive series and bring the storylines of Brennan, Booth and the Jeffersonian-FBI team to a close, allowing the show's loyal fans to say goodbye to these indelible characters. Over the course of the farewell season, fans will experience deaths, a wedding, epic serial killer storylines and an undercover episode."
Obviously, the upcoming wedding will be that of Dr. Camille "Cam" Saroyan (Tamara Taylor) and Dr. Arastoo Vaziri (Pej Vahdat). However, it will be a low-key affair that's meant to not overshadow Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan's big wedding a few seasons back.
What about the deaths, though? Do they refer to cases that the Jeffersonian team will handle for the entire season? Do they mean deaths of several characters?
Meanwhile, Eddie McClinctock has confirmed via his Twitter account that he will reprise his role as Tim Sullivan, Brennan's ex-partner and ex-boyfriend, when season 12 returns. Will Tim, Brennan, and Booth figure in a love triangle? Check out his tweet below:
Those questions will be answered when "Bones" season 12 returns to Fox midseason of 2017.
