"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is bringing back off-rails vehicle missions. According to Charlie Intel, it is possible for a player to steer the spaceship they are in.

The publication says that this was in effect in the Jackal flight segment shown during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016.

What this simply means is that in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," players will enjoy full flight control of the ship much like a regular space-sim.

Previous "Call of Duty" games always had pre-set paths for vehicle missions but it appears that developer Infinity Ward is taking "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" to the next level by allowing players to navigate the ships themselves in the mission.

This makes "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," as per Charlie Intel "basically [two games in one] now." This should be good news to those who missed the off-rails feature in "Call of Duty" titles.

Apart from this feature, Infinity Ward Studio Art Director Brian Horton revealed to GamingBolt that "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will boast "a huge arsenal of weapons," in fact the biggest in the history of the series.

There's more to expect in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." Horton teased that "in addition to the weapons, you also have a lot of gear."

"You're going to see things like our antigrav grenade. You'll have robot hacking. You'll have seeker grenades. There's a lot of gear you'll be able to use throughout the campaign that will progress and allow you to take out your enemies in creative and fun way," he explained.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is set in outer space, which is a surprising choice but is still an exciting prospect. The game introduces the new villain, Admiral Salen Kotch.

Hailed the leader of the Settlement Defense Front, the skilled and experienced sailor is played by "Game of Thrones" actor Kit Harington.

In an interview with Game Informer, Infinity Ward narrative director Taylor Kurosaki revealed that Kotch has a problem with the player's "entire way of life."

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will be released on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and personal computer (PC) on Nov. 4.
