After facing many conflicts and challenges, Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Dawson (Monica Raymund) will finally be back together to raise their foster child Louie in "Chicago Fire" season 5.

The previous season left off with yet another major trial for Casey and Dawson's tumultuous relationship. Dawson (Monica Raymund) focused on becoming a foster parent to a child she rescued with or without Casey's help, while her on-and-off boyfriend had to deal with a major dilemma. He had to choose between trying to make things work with his steady girlfriend and start a family with her or accept a tempting invitation from political consultant Susan Weller (Lauren Stamile) who wants to meet back at her hotel room. The finale concluded with Casey returning to a surprised Dawson.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Spencer hints there is a possibility of a Casey-Dawson wedding in the near future. "They're sort of toying with me as much as [the viewers.] I reckon that's in the wings, but if it was to happen, it wouldn't be a white wedding," he said. "Apart from the fact that I wouldn't want one, and Monica definitely doesn't want one, I don't think the writers would want to do it like that. So if they ever did it, hopefully they come up with a fun yet heartfelt storyline."

Additionally, the actor also confirmed that there will be an all-Casey episode come seaosn 5 with a storyline that delves deeper into his character. He will find himself in a tough situation outside of the firehouse and he will be forced to "MacGyver the hell out of the situation," Spencer continued. "We're going to see that in episode four, I think, which I'm really excited about. I think it will just be me, I don't think I'll have any backup.
