"Dragon Ball Xenoverse," a game published by Bandai Namco, has gained popularity ever since its release in February 2015, and "Dragon Ball" fans have been highly anticipating for a second installment of the game.

Even more than a year after the game's release to the public, there has been no announcement on whether there will be a sequel to the game or not. However, there have been rumors going around suggesting that a new game may be in the works.

In a Q&A discussion with Sean Schemmel at the Bristol Comic Con on April 9, the voice actor who portrayed the lead character Goku was asked if there have been any developments about the rumored sequel of the game. He said, "I do think there is going to be...I can't confirm it yet but Chris called me and said there's gonna be a game coming out." The veteran voice actor added, "I'm thinking there's going to be some DLC or maybe another 'Xenoverse' game I wouldn't be surprised. 'Xenoverse' was so successful the publishing company would be stupid not to make another one just for the sake of the money."

His answer in the panel discussion has sparked talks that he was hinting at the possibility of a sequel for the "Xenoverse" game. As of report writing, though, there has been no announcement yet from Bandai Namco on whether or not there will indeed be a sequel to "Xenoverse." Sadly, gaming fans will have to wait longer for confirmatory news about the release of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."

Back in January, Japan-based V-Jump magazine announced, as reported by Gematsu, that Bandai Namco will release a new game called "Dragon Ball: Project Fusion" for the Nintendo 3DS. Bandai Namco has not announced the official release date for the said game.
