Bethesda's "The Elder Scrolls" franchise is currently awaiting its sixth installment, which the game developer is still being vague about, but "The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim" creator Todd Howard, recently admitted that an "Elder Scrolls 6" is already in the works, but he adds that it is "not what you would call a big, active project right now."

Howard also continued saying, "There are some other [projects] that we have going." Adding that, "We know [The Elder Scrolls is] important to our fans, and we need to be careful about setting expectations. It's certainly a game that we'll be making one day. I could sit here and explain to you exactly what we want it to be."

Aside from that, Howard expressed his impressions about the Nintendo Switch console, which he gave a good try during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this year. "One of the best demos I've ever seen. Probably the best demo I've ever seen. At E3," the game creator said.

In addition, Howard assured that Bethesda is going to support the new Nintendo Switch console, along with many other game developers. "We're definitely going to be supporting it," he said. "It's the first time we've done something on Nintendo. If you don't count the old NES stuff."

The creator also hints that a new game might be partnered with Nintendo Switch in the near future. "The official reveal is real soon and everyone can see what I did in a month or so. This is the first time our company is working with Nintendo. We did associate with them during the retro gaming era but this is our big association after the old NES days," he said.

As of now, "Elder Scrolls 6" is not yet given an estimated release date, but Bethesda keeps its promise that the game will surely come soon.
