Medical drama television series "Grey's Anatomy' will be introducing new relationships in the coming episodes of season 13. The first one on the list is the bromance that Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) and Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson) will be sharing.

Henderson divulged the details to Entertainment Weekly, saying that there will be a possible friendship between the two. While that's generally supposed to be a good news, it further complicates the issue concerning Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary). But Henderson hinted that despite this fact, Alex and Nathan could be developing respect for each other.

"I did hear a hint that maybe a bit of a bromance starts, a mutual respect, and they don't hold anything against one another, and so I think that may be in the cards too," Henderson said.

If Henderson's hunch of what's going to happen in the season is correct, then it's going to be exactly what Alex needs — a decent guy friend. But spoilers reveal that things aren't going to get better for the surgical doctor.

In a synopsis for season 13 episode 4, it said that Alex will be going through a dilemma. He will be trying to do the right thing but still "can't catch a break." It's not known what his problem will be but it's likely connected to the emotional trauma that Alex acquired.

Spoilers also revealed that Alex will be trying to get his job back. Following a violent outburst, Alex lost his job and now he's regretting it. Meanwhile, Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) is also going to have new love interest, as confirmed by show creator Shonda Rhimes.

She didn't disclose much but reports have circulated that Tessa Ferrer will be reprising her role as Leah Murphy. She had an emotional entanglement with Arizona before but it never worked out because of Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez). But with Leah's return, she and Arizona could have their chance at romance.

"Grey's Anatomy" airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
