They say with great power comes great responsibility, and that's probably what Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) and his Scooby Gang will find out when the full extent of the magic stick's powers is revealed to them in "Grimm" season 6.

According to Sasha Roiz — who plays Zauberbiest Mayor of Portland Sean Renard in the series — the upcoming season will be troublesome for the main cast members Nick, Adalind Schade (Claire Coffee), Juliette Silverton/Eve (Bitsie Tulloch), and the rest of the Scooby Gang.

In a recent interview with Showbiz Junkies, Roiz teased that Renard will be the darkest he's ever been in the upcoming season. If the past seasons showed Renard at 50/50 odds with the Scooby Gang, the sixth installment would see him completely isolated from them and in total opposition against Nick.

Apparently, this time, Renard's bid for power in the Wesen world will put him and Nick at opposing sides. Roiz even likened his evil transformation to shedding ill-fitting clothes. He said Renard will finally let his true self out as he goes up against Nick, along with Eve and Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni), the remnants of Hadrian's Wall.

Meanwhile, Giuntoli talked to Dread Central about how evil the magic stick could purportedly get when used to its full potential. The upcoming season might find him using it to free Adalind from the enchanted wedding ring that holds her prisoner of the Black Claw. However, since Adalind is on a Hexenbiest suppressant, the magic stick might break the barrier and turn her evil again.

Series creator David Greenwalt seemed to confirm the same about the magic stick when he spoke to Enstarz. He said Nick and the rest would soon learn the repercussions of using the stick. He likewise said that the upcoming season would explore the history of the stick, where it came from, and how it found its way to Portland.

"Grimm" season 6 will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 9, on NBC.
