"Grand Theft Auto V" has been one of the prized gems of Rockstar Games, selling millions of copies worldwide. It has remained to be one of the most popular open world, action-adventure shooter video games that exist today. Since the game was first released in September 2013, "GTA V" has seen a number of DLC that started with "Beach Bum."

However, for the past few months, there have been no reported DLC releases or plans by Rockstar Games to further expand the "Grand Theft Auto V" universe. The latest rumors suggest that there is a new content pack coming up for the single player story mode of "GTA V," while there are reports that new DLCs for "GTA V Online" are in the works, although there seems to be a little delay.

Neurogadget reported a few hints suggesting that a new downloadable content for "Grand Theft Auto V" is underway. The online publication noted the football-themed clothing in the current game which may suggest that the new DLC for "GTA V" might be related to football. Furthermore, there are rumors that players can use new characters with the new DLC, which could be a professional NFL player in Los Santos. It is also possible that instead of a football player character, a football mini-game will be introduced in between the missions.

It should be noted, however, that Rockstar Games has not yet revealed their plans for an upcoming DLC for "Grand Theft Auto V," so the fans must not expect too much from the early rumors. On the other hand, Rockstar Games previously teased the players of "GTA V Online" regarding the new contents. As reported by Mobipicker, players can expect "Cunning Stunts" and "Finance and Felony" DLC coming up in the near future. However, latest reports suggest that the planned add-ons for the online mode of "GTA V" will be delayed. It was speculated that the recent online event called the "Capture Event" was made because Rockstar Games has no other plans to roll out this week, and the anticipated DLC releases for "GTA V Online" may therefore be postponed.
