iOS 10 release date update 2016: Software to bring new features including Dark Mode?
Many Apple users are pretty excited about the upcoming iOS 10 and what it brings to the table. The annual Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC 2016 is just around the corner and fans are expecting the Cupertino-based company to launch the highly anticipated operating system, along with other Apple products.
There have been numerous rumors regarding the new features that the iOS 10 brings including the split-screen mode and the Dark Mode. Despite Apple's silence with regard to these features, many fans and critics have continued to speculate. There were even teaser videos and images circulating all over the Internet showing what appeared to be Apple devices with a dark mode feature. There are also a few concept images coming from various tech websites including the ones from iHelpBR, which shows Apple devices running on the new iOS 10. Fans can see in the images how the display would appear during dark mode in Mail, Contacts, Messages and some other Apps.
The website also predicted that Dark Mode feature would likely to happen once the update is rolled out. The feature is actually nothing new to some Apple users as this has already been done in Maps app and was available when OS X Yosemite was released. It is said that many Apple users are requesting the company to add the feature on other iOS devices.
Meanwhile, the split-screen mode might be something new for Apple users; however, this feature already exists on some devices from other manufacturers. It may also be quite impossible to bring this feature on the iPhone due to the smartphone's limited display size.
According to a report by Mirror, the update will also allow users to remove defaults apps from the main screen of their device. Apps such as Calendar, Game Center, Reminders and Voice Memos can all be hidden once the iOS 10 hits the market.
Nonetheless, these rumors have yet to be confirmed by the company.
