Previous reports may have suggested that production for "Jurassic World 2" will start on Feb. 27, 2017, in Hawaii, but it sounds like that may not be the case after all. In an interview with Moviefone, producer Frank Marshall revealed that filming would actually begin in February, in London.

He talked about how excited he was to see what director Juan Antonio Bayona would bring to the franchise. Well, Bayona does have a unique style, and in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he talked about how he's going to approach the film and add more animatronics.

"Obviously you don't have real dinosaurs — sometimes you have people playing dinosaurs — but we love animatronics and we're trying to do as much with them as possible. It's complicated because the audience now is so used to seeing CGI that they're sometimes reluctant toward animatronics. But at the same time, I think animatronics bring soul and reality to it. We're trying to find the balance between animatronics and CGI in order to cheat the audience so they don't know what they're seeing," he stated.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are going to reprise their roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing. Last week, executive producer/writer Colin Trevorrow hinted that viewers won't be seeing Claire in high heels this time. Some critics might have argued that running around in high heels looked ridiculous, but there's no denying that Claire's choice of footwear was definitely one of the most memorable moments on "Jurassic World."

"Captain America" star Toby Jones, "Prometheus" actor Rafe Spall and "The Get Down" lead Justice Smith are also joining the cast for "Jurassic World 2." B.D. Wong's return as Dr. Henry Wu hasn't been confirmed yet, but Marshall has hinted that fans may not have seen the last of the wayward geneticist.

"Jurassic World 2" is scheduled to premiere on June 22, 2018.
