Fans of the 2015 blockbuster movie "Jurassic World" may have been given a shock after rumors surfaced that the sequel to the film was delayed due to a feud between lead stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. Fortunately, fans can now rest easy as that rumor was recently debunked, and there have been no reports that say that the sequel has been halted for any reason.

According to Movie News Guide, insiders reported that the relationship between the two actors is going well, and the two are cooking up something for the movie. Pratt and Howard are reportedly getting ready to return for the "Jurassic" sequel.

"Jurassic World" was a massive worldwide success, gaining $1.6 billion in the box office, so it's no wonder that the studio wants more "Jurassic" films to come. As for Pratt, he has been getting more and more recognition as a leading man, starting with his portrayal as Peter Quill in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" followed by his role as the raptor trainer Owen Grady in "Jurassic World." His charisma and likeability could be one of the main factors to the movie's success.

Speaking of success, after gaining a billion dollars for Universal Pictures, Colin Trevorrow has stepped down as director of the sequel in order to direct the 9th episode of the Star Wars franchise. Taking his place will be JA Bayona, who is known for his work on the show "Penny Dreadful" and "The Impossible"(2012).

Trevorrow, however, will be staying on to write the basic outline for the sequel. Universal head Donna Langley stated in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "There's no reason why we should [have trouble]. Colin Trevorrow is busy working on an outline. He's been working with Steven [Spielberg]. And they have an idea for the next two movies actually. It was designed as a trilogy, unbeknown to us. It's a happy surprise."

Trevorrow also has confidence in Bayona replacing him and says that he may as well bring something new to the "Jurassic" franchise.
