It looks like the midseason premiere of "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will see the Waverider crew bring their whips and don their fedoras.

The show will be back to the small screen next year with an episode titled "Raiders of the Lost Art," which is a nod to the first "Indiana Jones" film.

In a recent Fan Fest chat, Caity Lotz revealed that "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will feature George Lucas, who is known for creating "Star Wars" and is the man behind Indy's archaeological adventures.

Since Rip is in the 1960s, the Waverider crew's next destination as they attempt to save Rip before the Legion of Doom get to them, it will be the perfect way to bring in Lucas.

Interestingly, Rip may even be channeling Lucas as he was shown to be a director in the midseason finale of "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2. He was filming a movie based on his life.

As seen in the trailer for the second half of the season, Rip will have a hard time sticking with his filming schedule as he will be captured by the Legion of Doom in their quest to get a hold of the Spear of Destiny.

One of the more shocking moments in the "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 trailer, however, is Nate (Nick Zano) and Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) in bed.

This comes as a huge surprise seeing that the show has been building up romance between the former Justice Society of America member and Mick (Dominic Purcell).

However, Nick and Amaya getting together was already foreshadowed in the past, when Steel shows up the same time Amaya was being advised by Obsidian (Lance Henriksen) to find new love in episode 5, "Compromised."

Either way, it will be exciting to see how this pans out especially with Mick looking like he is starting to develop feelings for Amaya. It should be fun to see how he expresses his jealousy.

In lieu of a change of schedule, "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 returns Tuesday, Jan. 24, on The CW.
