LA Lakers trade rumors 2016: Nick Young may be on the way out

Already in his fourth NBA team in his career, Nick Young is being rumored to a move away from the Los Angeles Lakers before the start of the coming season.

The shooting star is reportedly on the trading block as the Lakers continue to search for possible players that will help them get their glory days back.

The Lakers are now without their marquee player in Kobe Bryant and have once hoped that Young can carry the mantle in the franchise as their main player.

In his three seasons with the Lakers, he has failed to live up to expectations, and his role even dwindled down in the last season.

During his first two years with the team, Young averaged 17.9 and 13.4 points per game, respectively.

However, last season saw him drop to only 7.3 points per game, and his minutes went down as much as four minutes to only play around 19 per game.

Not only that, his shooting percentage has been atrocious as he shot only 34 percent from the field last year which did not help his cause.

However, it is said that he has gone through improvement lately, and he may be kept by the Lakers after all.

At the moment, he remains to be a Laker, but Young should now start taking things seriously as he is now in the late stages of his career, and finding a place where he can play during his peak is important.

Now, there are surely a lot of players willing to trade places with him and play in a great franchise like the Lakers.

The biggest rumor so far is that the Denver Nuggets may get Young, along with Julius Randle for Kenneth Faried and possibly Gary Harris.

Expect more news in the coming weeks if the Lakers decide to finally part ways with Young.
