MacBook Pro 2016 release date, specs news: Will be the first Mac to include Siri? Arriving soon, 2015 models get price cut

Apple has shown no signs of an impending release of new MacBook Pro models this year. However, as much as the tech giant wants to remain silent, they could not stop the rumors regarding the 2016 Macbook Pro from spreading on the internet. If the latest rumor is correct, the public can expect the Macbook Pro 2016 to be launched earlier than expected, possibly during the company's upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2016 next month. One of the telling signs of the newest Macbook Pro's arrival is the observed price cuts for the older units.

The incredibly huge price discounts given to older laptops models can be seen as a move to clear off the shelves before the anticipated arrival of the newer ones. In the case of Macbook Pro 2016, there are evidence of its arrival happening sooner than expected with the promo deals for the 2015 MacPro's.

Apple Insider reported that B&H is offering cheaper deals for the 2015 Macbook Pro units. The offer is actually not bad with price cut as huge as $200 for selected models. Specifically, the 13-inch and 15-inch variants of the 2015 Macbook Pro are put on sale with a more affordable price.

As an example, the 13-inch Macbook Pro 2015 with 2.9 GHz processor speed, 8 GB worth of RAM and 512 GB memory can now be purchased for $1,599. This is down from its $1,799 original price. Meanwhile, the 15-inch version with 2.2 GHz processor, 16 GB RAM and 256 GB built-in memory now has a selling price of $1,799. This is down from the original price of $1,999. Two other similar units are also put on sale by B&H with $150 price dip.

In other news, the anticipated new MacBook Pro is rumored to include a known virtual assistance fresh from the iPhone. As reported by MacRumors, the 2016 MacPro units will introduce Siri for the first time in Apple laptops. The latest MacBooks is reportedly getting a new operating system called the OS X 10.12, replacing the MacOS. The new OS X 10.12 is expected to feature Siri as the laptop's official virtual assistant, similar to Windows 10's Cortana.
