A few weeks before the much-awaited release of "Mafia III," its publisher studio, 2k Games, has revealed the PC system requirements of the latest "Mafia" installment.

As reported by the Game Spot, 2K released the system requirements in an artistic and goofy fashion. The image resembles an old school magazine poster, where the system requirements are listed on it. As "Mafia III" is expected to be an action-packed video game, it is pretty obvious that the game would have huge requirements. Particularly, the recommended graphics card for those using Nvidia product is the GTX 1060. For AMD graphics cards, 2K recommends a Radeon R9 290X.

The minimum software and hardware requirements of the game are Windows 7 64-bit OS, Intel I5-2500K for Intel CPUs, AMD FX-8120 for AMD CPUs, 6 GB RAM, Radeon HD7870 for AMD GPUs, GeForce GTX 660 for Nvidia GPUs, 2 GB video card memory, and 50 GB free space on internal hard drive.

Meanwhile, 2K Games recommends a higher quality of graphics and processing chipsets to maximize the "Mafia III" experience. For Intel CPUs, the recommended processor is I7-3770, AMD FX 8359 4.0 Ghz with 8 GB RAM for AMD chipsets, Radeon R9 290X for AMD GPUs, GeForce GTX 780 or GeForce GTX 1060 for Nvidia graphics cards, and video memory of 4 GB.

The latest "Mafia" installment will be introducing new contents that are new to the franchise, especially that in this sequel, the players are given more freedom to choose their character's line of work. There are different ways for the players to explore the underground world of criminals, and they can freely decide on which path to take.

"'Mafia III' introduces a truly open world, rich with its own criminal ecosystems to the franchise, while still upholding the strong narrative storytelling and immersive setting that the previous 'Mafia' games are known for," said by Hanger 13 head and creative director, Haden Blackman via Games Beat.
