"Marvel vs. Capcom" may be in the works. Recent rumors claim that Capcom will soon announce "Marvel vs. Capcom 4" at the upcoming PlayStation Experience, which will be held this weekend. This should spark the excitement of the gamers as the Marvel characters may soon face the X-Men heroes.

Players of "Marvel vs. Capcom" surely know that the original title, "X-Men vs. Street Fighter," has been in the gaming industry for a while and so this is just the perfect time for another similar title to come in. This time, it is interesting to see the mutants of X-Men fight the classic characters of Marvel, especially with the alleged appearance of Wolverine and Magneto.

It was reported that the initial "Marvel vs. Capcom" was focused heavily on X-Men and the first two titles also have less Marvel focus than the mutant heroes, according to Paste Magazine. However, it is good to see Spider-Man, The Hulk and even Captain America being occasionally featured in the game.

While Capcom has yet to announce the coming of the title, Polygon sources say that "Marvel vs. Capcom 4" will be released simultaneously with the upcoming PlayStation Experience event, the date of which is when the Capcom Cup 2016 Street Fighter 5 will also take place.

Fans are already expecting that "Marvel vs. Capcom 4" will feature more Marvel characters this time, which also means that players will be able to see the members of "The Avengers" or even those from "Guardians of the Galaxy."

The most recent title in the franchise is the "Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds," which was launched in 2011 for PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Xbox 360. Later in the same year, the "Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3" was released. This time, it introduced characters like Phoenix, Storm, Sentinel, Wolverine, Magneto and X-23.

PlayStation Experience will start in a couple of days, so "Marvel vs. Capcom 4" enthusiasts will just have a few nights to sleep before they find out if the speculations are true. Stay tuned for more details.
