The rumored Microsoft's Surface Pro 5 has made quite a buzz lately all over the internet. Although the American software company has yet to provide specific details with regard to its development and the release date, fans and critics have continued to make it a hot topic.

As of the moment, all that's out there are merely just rumors and speculations. Fans are expecting the company to provide significant information about the new device anytime soon. There have been reports suggesting that the device may come out as early as next month, while others are saying that Microsoft might not release the highly anticipated hybrid until next year, Inquisitr reported.

There are speculations that the company is still waiting for Intel's 7th generation processors to come out, which has caused the delay. According to The Country Caller, Microsoft will make the next laptop-tablet hybrid to be a premium product, which is why they want all the superior specs on it. Intel's Kaby Lake chipset is said to be already in development and if rumors prove to be true, Microsoft could release the Surface Pro 5 before the year ends.

The Kaby Lake chipset is the successor of the current Skylake processor from Intel, which has powered the present iteration of the Surface Pro. The only question right now is, when Intel will wrap up the development of the new generation processor. As for now, the chipset maker has yet to provide details with regard to its release date.

Meanwhile, there are reports suggesting that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 could get the same price as its predecessor. Tech observers expect the price of the hybrid device to start at $899. However, the premium variant of the laptop could have a price tag of $1,800.

Fans will have to stay tuned for more news and updates about the highly anticipated Microsoft Surface Pro 5.
