Aside from this, the maximum screen resolution of the device will be adjusted up to 2736×1824 ppi.

Regarding the release date of the Microsoft tablet, the rumors are rife that the company will not be able to release the Surface Pro 5 units this year. Instead, it is expected to be released sometime in 2017 because Intel will not yet release its next generation of processing chips anytime soon.

Dubbed as the Kaby Lake processor, the chipset is rumored to be the perfect technology for Surface Pro 5 as it will introduce faster and more efficient processing of work and data.GSM Arena also reported that Microsoft will equip the Surface Pro 5 with better battery capacity, and this will only be done by using Kaby Lake processors. Longer battery performance can be done with a high efficient processor, and it is rumored that Intel's latest Kaby Lake processor will do the trick for Surface Pro 5. The Kaby Lake processors are said to optimize the use of battery power, and will require less heat for all of its work. This will help Surface Pro 5 prolong its battery life for more hours compared to Surface Pro 4.
