Microsoft Corporation has found a gem with the creation of the Surface Pro line. The previous Surface Pro versions have been proven to be successful, especially if the company's latest design, Surface Pro 4, is being considered. Launched in 2015, the Surface Pro 4 has become a commercial success worldwide, and the tech analysts have also noted the device's very good performance and high-level features. With a product being a hit in the market and garnering positive critical reception among the users, it can be expected that Microsoft will take the opportunity to release a brand new design of Surface Pro 5.

As of the meantime, Microsoft has not yet released an official statement or confirmation regarding the development of the Surface Pro 5. However, even though the company is keeping their lips sealed, there is no stopping the Surface Pro followers to gather information from their own online sources. In fact, the latest rumor suggests that Microsoft is already preparing the release of Surface Pro 5 this year, and it will happen before the company's rival tech giant, Apple, unveils the new MacBook Pro model.

MacRumors reported that the MacBook Pro 2016 will be formally introduced to the public during the company's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2016, which will run from June 14 to 17. If the rumor is correct and if Microsoft will indeed launch the new Surface Pro before the new MacBook Pro's official announcement, it can be expected that the Surface Pro 5 will be unveiled within the coming weeks.

Surface Pro 5 is rumored to sport an Ultra HD screen display with a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 pixels, Neurogadget reported. Also, the battery of Surface Pro 5 is expected to last longer than the 9-hour battery life of Surface Pro 4. Perhaps one of the highlights of the new Surface Pro is its processor, which is rumored to be next generation of Intel's chipset called Kaby Lake.
