'Naruto Shippuden' episode 467 spoilers: Indra and Ashura's battle continues for the throne

Japanese manga-based animated series "Naruto Shippuden" may have delayed the airing of its episode 466 but that didn't stop fans from learning a thing or two about what will be happening including in the next episode 467.

According to reports, episode 466 missed its scheduled air date and moved to June 30. Titled "The Tumultuous Journey," the episode showed a continuation on the storyline of brothers Indra and Ashura. The two have been waging a battle to win as the successor of Ninshu. Many are betting on Indra, the ancestor of the Uchiha clan, since he is the eldest son of Hagoromo.

However, the people are divided as some also believe that Ashura is fit to be the next king. Indra has an edge since he possesses a natural gift for Ninshu, but according to spoilers, episode 467 will show that the handing over of the throne to Indra is not going to be as easy as others think.

Episode 467 is titled "Ashura's Determination," which suggests that Ashura is willing to fight for the crown no matter what it takes. An interesting twist of events is also expected to happen between the two. Spoilers suggest that Ashura and Indra's chakras are going to be reawakened as Naruto and Sasuke.

It can be remembered in episode 465 that the fight between Indra and Ashura was somehow similar to the fight of Naruto and Sasuke's in the original. Also, based on the manga series, the battle of the two brothers will not end up well. It will both lead to their demise.

In other news, "Naruto Shippuden" has been criticized by fans lately as the series is observed to be on a filler mode. Avid followers have sensed that the anime has been delaying the fight between Naruto, Sasuke and Kaguya. Many hoped that episode 467 will return to the original storyline but considering the title, it appears like it's still going to be a filler.

"Naruto Shippuden" episode 467 will air on July 7.
