Fans will have to wait few more weeks until "NBA 2K17" will be out and available for purchase. Fans who have been waiting for it will finally be able to play the new virtual basketball game along with its new features and add-ons.

One thing that gamers can look forward to is the MyCareer mode. According to Polygon, publisher 2K Sports will be adding a touch of Hollywood into the mix. They will be featuring "Fantastic Four" actor Michael B. Jordan, whose recent success is his 2015 film "Creed." Gamers will be paired with him in a storyline that centers on friendship.

"I'm humbled at the opportunity to help influence a franchise that I've been a passionate fan of since its first release," Jordan said.

He also did some motion-capture work for the game aside from doing some voiceover for his character named Justice Young. Described as "an up-and-coming NBA athlete," Young is any gamer's teammate who can help in rising through the ranks together.

The new MyCareer mode is also noted to be swerving away from the 2016's Spike Lee storyline which was more rigid. Other popular actors that will be featured in the new mode include Matt Walsh as college coach Hemsley Adson and comedian Hannibal Buress as a barber named Ice.

In other news, 2K has confirmed that "NBA 2K17" will be incorporated with HDR support for Xbox One S. This will be the first time that the title will support the new technology.

With HDR, televisions will bring an expanded color and contrast range, which means the display will be brighter and more vibrant.

"NBA 2K17" will officially be released on Sept. 20 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Those who pre-order it can play it four days earlier. There's also an $80 edition featuring former Los Angeles Lakers player Kobe Bryant.
