Rumors of Google releasing a 7-inch Android tablet have been going on for a few months now. According to reports, the device is the Nexus 7 2016. Rumor has it that the device will become a game changer once it comes out in the market because of its advanced features that have never been applied to the current devices in the stores today. It will be interesting how the device will do against other major manufacturers such as Samsung and Apple, which are rumored to release their own tablets this year.

Although the new model has yet to be confirmed by Google, fans believe that the company is already working on it and added that it will come out with the newest Android software, the Android N. There are speculations that the latest software will debut with the device. There is no specific date of the release as of the moment, but critics are claiming that the possibility of a rollout this year is very likely.

The new device is said to fit with people who do multitasking a lot on their tablet because of its features. Allegedly, Google is developing the device so it would fit with its new software.

Although there are still no official details with regard to Nexus 7 specs, there are already speculations suggesting that it will run on a Snapdragon 810 or 820. For multitasking, the company is allegedly planning to add 4 GB of RAM for smooth usage. 

Previous reports have also suggested that Google tapped the Chinese smartphone maker Huawei to manufacture the device for them. According to reports, Huawei has already agreed and is currently working on the handset.

Fans should also take note that these rumors have not been confirmed by Google. Until the company makes an official announcement, tech freaks should take all information with a grain of salt.
