In one of the highly anticipated releases in the computer tech industry, Nvidia is reportedly planning to release the GeForce GTX 1070 on June 10.

As part of the event Nvidia held back in May 6, the company revealed that the Pascal GP104 will help increase the productivity and strengthen the already impressive performance of Nvidia GeForce GTX.

While its more expensive counterpart, the GeForce GTX 1080, was already released on May 27, people have also been waiting for the GTX 1070 to hit the shelves.

One of the main reasons for this is that the GTX 1070 will be relatively cheaper than its counterpart, with a £399 price tag as compared to £619 for the GTX 1080 Founders Edition.

The regular edition will be at £329 (a price still to be finalized) for the GTX 1070, while the GTX 1080 will be at £529.

Naturally, the GTX 1080 will perform slightly better, but the GTX 1070 is no slouch at all. It is a significant improvement from the older generation of GTX 970, its predecessor, while also making sure it has improvements over the GTX 980.

One of its best improvements is the Memory Data Rate which clocks in at 8 Gb/s, while the GTX 1080 is slightly better at 10 Gb/s.

As for the Memory Bandwidth, the GTX 1070 clocks in at 256 GB/s, while the predecessors are only between 196 GB/s and 224 GB/s.

Looking at the number of transistors found in the GTX 1070, users will find that they are exactly the same as its big brother, at 7.2 billion, while the older versions have 5.2 billion.

This is shaping up to be one of the must-haves for those who want a powerful desktop computer. Nvidia continues to be one of the leaders in technology and the introduction of these two pieces of graphics cards show that they are ready for even more advancement.
