'Outlander' season 2 episode 11 spoilers: Claire reunites with someone from her past; Jamie and Murtagh rescue Claire

The sophomore season of historical drama "Outlander" is only a few weeks away from the much-anticipated finale, and viewers are in for thrilling and action-packed episodes as the show nears its end.

Last Saturday's episode "Prestonpans" saw the Jacobite army headed by Jamie as they went through their first battle after a long preparation. The Highlanders emerged victorious against the British at the Prestonpans by surprising them in the fog, but they unfortunately lost one of their own after Angus died from his serious injuries.

Moving forward, this week's episode will see Claire put her medical skills to the test. After previously setting up a field hospital, she will take on rudimentary dentistry, Radio Times reports. Prince Charles is finally showing determination in terms of military matters, as he encourages the commanders to "keep the faith" as they head to London. Jamie remains supportive as long as they keep fighting with him. Meanwhile, Claire has to be away from Jamie so the Redcoats escort her to a safe house, where she is shocked to see someone from her past. Jamie and Murtagh will rescue her, and a bloody fight will ensue.

To give viewers an idea of what's in store for episode 11 titled "Vengeance is Mine", the synopsis reads:

"Claire and the Highlanders head north after the Jacobite leaders decide to halt their march on London; Claire has an unexpected reunion after a band of redcoats makes trouble for the Scots."

On another note, producer Matt Roberts hinted how the power struggle between Dougal and Jamie will escalate as the season progresses. "Over the next few episodes, Dougal has to really take an unfamiliar position because being subservient to Jamie is really new to him," Roberts explained. "He's always been half in charge, which was tough for him anyway with Colum. He's just a mere soldier now, and that's the thing that really eats at him."
