The clock is ticking for the much-awaited release of the first ever Pokemon mobile gaming application, "Pokemon GO." It has long been rumored that Niantic's latest and perhaps the most anticipated project from the company will be out by Summer 2016. According to the latest reports, the public may not have to wait longer as the company is set to launch the gaming app early next week.

Niantic itself has given hints that the release of "Pokemon GO" is just around the corner. It was quoted in a report by Express UK that the arrival of "Pokemon GO" is "getting closer," according to the company's official statement. The same mobile game developer that developed the famous augmented reality (AR) game "Ingress" has recently conducted beta testing rounds in different parts of the world such as Japan, Australia and New Zealand. The final stop of the open beta testing rounds is the United States, where more beta testers had the opportunity to experience the upcoming Pokemon game firsthand, as well as to help in making the game more exciting.

"It's been sort of like making a big meal for your friends or family. We have been sweating the details in the kitchen and now we are anxious and excited to share our creation with you," Niantic has stated. It appears that the arrival of the beta test version of "Pokemon GO" is a part of the final stage of the game's development. Niantic also took the opportunity to thank everyone who became a part of the experience to bring the game into reality.

The Bitbag reported that the beta tests in the United States have finally ended last June 30, thus giving hints that the launching of "Pokemon GO" will happen very soon. It will only take some time to process the inputs before coming up with the final version of the mobile game.

"Pokemon GO" is reported to be available for pre-order in the United States as of the meantime. Users can now make an early purchase of the game for $34.99. If the rumors are correct, the actual release of "Pokemon GO" will coincide with the Pokemon founder and former Nintendo president Satoru Iwata's death anniversary, which falls on July 11.

"Pokemon GO" will be a free-to-play application available in Google Play and Apple Stores.
