Nintendo has been regularly releasing teaser trailers for the upcoming 3DS game "Pokemon Sun and Moon," although the early days of August are expected to reveal something bigger about the latest "Pokemon" game title. Japan-based online publication Serebii has reported that the official website of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will be featuring important new details at around 9 a.m. EDT. It is not yet confirmed, however, if the upcoming game reveal on August 1 will be focused on the new Pokemon or the new gameplay features.

So far, there are now 25 new Pokemon that were introduced through magazine issues and trailer videos for the past several weeks. It is expected that Nintendo will be revealing more Pokemon in the coming days, although it is likely that the Aug. 1 reveal will be introducing new Pokemon to the game's official website.

Previous trailers for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" featured new game contents, features, and player mode that are not present in the past "Pokemon" game titles. The latest teaser video from Nintendo showed new gameplay footage from the game itself plus the two new and unique Pokemon, namely Kiteruguma and Mimikkyu. As described in Serebii, Kiteruguma is a new bear creature in the Pokemon world, while Mimikkyu is a mysterious ghost-type Pokemon.

The Verge earlier reported that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will arrive in the North American continent on November 18. Aside from the game, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will also have a 350-page Pokemon guide upon its release, perfect for those who would like to collect exclusive Pokemon items. Pokemon gamers from Canada and the United Kingdom can get their own copies of the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" standard guide by availing them via Amazon.
