According to a report from Game Rant, Capcom will be revealing their new game offerings to those who will be attending the E3 2016 event in June. It is expected that the game developer company will showcase the new additions to their successful "Resident Evil" franchise, and it is speculated that one of these upcoming "Resident Evil" projects is none other than "Resident Evil 7."

While it is not yet confirmed by Capcom that one of their agendas in the upcoming E3 2016 is to reveal the "Resident Evil 7" title, there are reports that the company is already gearing up for a possible release of the game early next year. Slash Gear reported that "Resident Evil 7" may arrive sometime in the final months of 2016. However, there are also rumors that the release date will occur within the company's fiscal year which will end before March 31, 2017. One of the games that are reported to be unveiled by Capcom throughout its current fiscal year is the "Resident Evil" spin-off video game called "Umbrella Corps," although Capcom mentioned that this game will be just a "warm up" or precursor of bigger things to come.

Capcom is reportedly working double time as it has a lot of projects from its video game line-up this year. As of the meantime, the company is busy doing the final touches and promoting the "Umbrella Corps" to be released on PlayStation 4 and PC platforms. Also included in the grand plans of Capcom in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the "Resident Evil" franchise is the launching of the HD remastered versions of the previous "Resident Evil" titles. Capcom will remaster "Resident Evil 4," "Resident Evil 5," and "Resident Evil 6" for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The re-packaging of the classic game titles is considered to be a "full-scale assault" that will roll during the second half of the year. As many fans believe, the release of "Resident Evil 7" will be the final revelation of Capcom.
