Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release date, specs roundup: impressive 6 GB of RAM?

Samsung is definitely going big this year. Following the successful release of its latest flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, the Korean tech giant is shifting its focus towards the much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 6. Rumors have been circulating with regards to its release date and its impressive features.

According to reports, Samsung may consider increasing the size of the smartphone's screen after fans were a little bit disappointed in the Galaxy Note 5's display size. The current line of the series has a 5.7-inch display and rumor has it that the new model will carry a 5.8-inch screen. There are also reports that the company will add the Quad HD 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution to Galaxy Note 6, which was missing in the previous model.

There are speculations that Samsung focuses on how to make this device ready for Virtual Reality or VR compatibility. The company understands that in able to do that they must build something that carries specs that are quite as impressive as the Samsung Galaxy S7.

If the rumors prove to be true, the new Galaxy Note 6 will come with two different chipset variants. One will be powered with the Snapdragon 820, while the other will run with the Exynos 8890 or a higher version.

Samsung certainly knows the importance of having powerful specs under the hood if they were to make this new line of the series capable of supporting 4K resolution. A Galaxy Note model with this feature will definitely do well in the market as the device could take things into a whole new level.

Meanwhile, rumors are starting to circulate that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will carry a 6 GB of AM, along with a 4000 mAh battery.

As of the moment, Samsung has not provided any detail with regard to its release. However, fans believe that the device will be launched anytime soon.
