The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge have been formally launched a few months ago and the new smartphone models were well-received by the tech users. With the ongoing success of the new Galaxy smartphone line, Samsung has more reason to continue with their annual expansion of their products' features. Thus, a lot of tech enthusiasts are expecting the South Korean electronics giant to launch their new Galaxy Series model within the foreseeable future. If the latest rumors are to go by, the so-called Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge are expected to arrive during the first months of 2017. Also, the new additions to the Galaxy Series are anticipated by many to be the company's first foldable smartphones.

Months after the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge were introduced to the world, there have been talks in different tech and gadget forums on the internet speculating that Samsung will be having another big year of releases in 2017. Chinese social media networking site Weibo, for one, has hinted on the possible huge Samsung product releases in the first part of 2017 that include the Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge smartphones. Other gadgets such as Galaxy S and Galaxy Note 7 are rumored to arrive next year.

However, Samsung has not made any official statement to either confirm or deny the development of the new Galaxy S8 smartphones. The public must only take these rumors with a grain of salt, although there is no stopping the Samsung followers to get their own scoop from different sources online. There is a hot rumor regarding the Galaxy S8 circulating on the internet nowadays saying that the new Samsung smartphone will be the first from the company to sport a foldable design.

The other rumored specs of the Galaxy S8 are not bad as the new smartphone model is expected to sport full 4K screen display feature, accompanied by a PenTile sub-pixel arrangement, Business Korea reported. Together with the Galaxy Note 7, the Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge will feature QHD Super AMOLED display with RGB sub-pixel arrangement.
