"Sister Wives" season 7 has just wrapped up last Sunday, bringing to a close what has been inarguably one of the most chaotic seasons for the reality show that features the polygamous Brown family. Nevertheless, it looked like the season finale only added more fuel to the flames as new discoveries were unfurled.

It would be remembered that towards the end of the reality TV show's sixth run, Meri, one of the four wives of Kody Brown, got involved in a catfishing scandal. As a result, much of "Sister Wives'" seventh season delved on her scandalous slip-up.

During the season 7 finale aptly titled "Tell All," it was revealed that Meri's daughter, Mariah, was aware of the affair right from the get-go. Apparently, the 21-year-old knew that her mother was having an online affair with "Sam Cooper," who was actually a woman named Jackie Overton in real life, but Meri ignored her warnings.

"From the very beginning I knew that was happening ... I tried to tell her and I tried to make it not happen and she just did it anyway ... She didn't listen to me," Mariah said in the tell-all special hosted by US Magazine's Erica Hill.

For his part, Kody would like to believe that the legal divorce he sought between him and Meri (his first wife) proved to be too much for her, which was why she fell into the trap of an online affair. He actually doesn't think it was infidelity on Meri's part.

Meanwhile, 47-year-old Kody said on the tell-all episode that it might be time for him to stop having kids. He currently has 18 children. The youngest, Ariella, was born to him and fourth wife Robyn last January.

"I'm old enough that I think it's time for me to grow up and stop having children," he said.

However, there are rumors that Kody is planning to leave his current wives – Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn – so he could marry two new wives. Hollywood Life dropped the names Amber and Mindy Jessop, and there are speculations that the two women are related to the Brown family. It remains to be seen whether there is truth to this rumor or none.

TLC is yet to announce when "Sister Wives" is coming back to the small screen for its eighth season.
