Michael Mando of "Better Call Saul" and "Far Cry 3" fame has been cast in the new "Spider-Man" movie, but there are no details as to the character he's playing. The "Better Call Saul" Twitter page, however, has fans in the message boards going crazy after they made a tweet that might have possibly revealed who Mando will play in the Spiderverse.

Fans have speculated that the tweet, which appears below, means that Mando will be playing Carnage in the movie. To those who may not be familiar, Carnage is the classic Spider-Man villain with the alias of Cletus Kasady. Kasady is a known serial killer who shared a jail cell with Eddie Brock (Venom). When the alien symbiote returned to bond with Brock, it left behind an offspring symbiote that latched itself onto Kasady and turned him into the villain, Carnage.

Mando appearing as Carnage in "Homecoming" is highly unlikely, seeing that the villain in the movie is already the Vulture (played by Michael Keaton). Most likely, Mando will have a cameo appearance, and the name Cletus Kasady could be name-dropped; but then again, these are all fan speculations, so the identity of Mando's character will remain a mystery to the audiences until the studio decides to reveal it to them.

On a side note, the tweet can come off as suspicious, because in the "Better Call Saul," Mando's character Nacho has not been responsible for any on-screen violence at all. Sure, his character may seem threatening, but that's all Nacho has every really did: make threats. The comment that he "brings carnage to life" doesn't seem consistent with his "Better Call Saul" character. On the other hand, whether the tweet proves to be true or false, the said TV series' page has managed to garner a lot of buzz around their tweet.

Over the course of filming, several stars have been cast for the film, but no news on who anybody is playing. "Silicon Valley" regular Martin Starr has been cast, as well as former "Community" actor Danny Glover. Hannibal Buress has been also been cast in a role. Fans can only speculate on what to expect from "Homecoming's" (TV) star-studded cast.

According to recent leak, the plot of "Homecoming" revolves around Peter Parker struggling to balance his life in school with his life as Spider-Man. Peter has to figure out how he can keep fighting crime while at the same time, ask Liz Allen to the homecoming dance (hence the title, "Spider-Man: Homecoming"). The villain this time is Adrian Toomes aka The Vulture, an Oscorp scientist who has access to a flight suit prototype with a horrible side-effect — it grants the user the power of flight. However, since it has no arc reactor technology, the suit takes power from the user, and the more the suit is used, the faster the user ages. Many familiar characters will be making an appearance as well, including Aunt May, Tony Stark, Harry Osbourne, and Mary Jane.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" is set to hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
