More and more cast members are being added in the highly-anticipated Marvel film "Spider-Man: Homecoming" set to join titular character played by Tom Holland in a new adventure.

It was previously announced that Robert Downey Jr. will be in the film as Peter Parker's mentor Iron Man but there's one more established Marvel character that might join him.

Chris Evans has expressed interest in playing Captain America in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" when asked by MTV which movie he'd like the Cap to appear, although he said that "Guardians of the Galaxy" will also be great.

"Guardians would be fun wouldn't it? I mean, but that's very outer spacey. Cap's more of an earthbound guy. Maybe the next Spider-Man [movie]. You know those are going to be fantastic and I think Tom's such a great actor so that might be a fun one to pop up in," the actor said.

"Marvel is doing something that no one else is doing, this crossing over of characters in films, so if they want to utilize that in any capacity, I'm willing," Evans continued.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" is definitely one of the biggest and most star-studded Marvel film to date, especially with the news that "Batman" actor Michael Keaton is back on the negotiation table and is close to seal the deal to play the main antagonist of the film.

According to reports, Keaton will bring to life Vulture, one of the first villains that Spider-Man fought in the comics. Keaton already has the flying menace's iconic look down so fans may finally get to see Vulture head to the big screen.

Earlier this week, rumors also emerged about Vincent D'Onofrio playing his villainous role Kingpin he first portrayed in Netflix's "Daredevil" series. He denies the reports but he also showed willingness to merge TV and movies.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be in cinemas July 7, 2017.
