Spider-Man's (Tom Holland) costume is about to get a little upgrade. Slash Film has reported that a teaser footage from "Spider-Man: Homecoming" was shown at the Comic Con Experience 2016 (CCXP) in Sao Paulo, Brazil during the weekend. And it looks like Peter Parker would be sporting the classic web-wings under his arms the next time he appears as Spider-Man.

Marvel's Ryan Penagos was also present at the event to give fans a brief description of the teaser. According to Penagos, the teaser starts with a scene seen through the eyes of Parker. He is talking to Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) and he receives a case from Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) containing the web-wing upgrade.

In another scene, Spider-Man is seen leaping off a building and testing out his new web-wings. French website Omelete (via Collider) also provides a more detailed description of the footage, which includes the dialog.

When Stan Lee and Steve Ditko first introduced Spider-Man to the world in the '60s, Spidey had those web-wings ranging from the waist to the middle of his arms. However, the web-wings haven't made an appearance for some time now in the comic books. Can Spider-Man use the web-wings to glide in the air, or are they just for show?

Well, it should do something useful since it's supposed to be an upgrade. Hopefully, it won't be long now before a trailer comes out since they have already shown a teaser at CCXP 2016.

Meanwhile, Favreau has hinted that Hogan would have a larger role in the film during a short interview with CinemaBlend. "I'm like ... I'm looking after him. He needs someone to help him out," he said. And it sounds like he had a great time playing his role in the movie.

"I had a lot of fun on that movie, working with Robert [Downey Jr.] and everything. It was a good time, and I liked the whole gang. It was really terrific."

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" is scheduled to swing into theaters on July 7, 2017.
