'Star Wars: Battlefront' DLC news 2016: Bespin DLC to launch this month, a 'beast' Dengar teased

Now that June has arrived, it won't be long before the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Bespin downloadable content (DLC) lands at the hands of excited gamers.

Electronic Arts has announced that the Bespin DLC will be out this month, at least for "Star Wars: Battlefront" season pass holders, but the game publisher hasn't designated a specific date for it yet.

However, GottaBeMobile believes that the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Bespin DLC will be available on the first day of summer, which is June 21, considering that EA once said the expansion pack's launch will fall during that season.

Taking into account the two-week early access privilege that season pass holders enjoy, "Star Wars: Battlefront" Bespin DLC will likely be available to everyone during the first week of July.

According to reports, the Bespin DLC will be seen in action on June 13 to 14 during the EA Play event, which serves as the presentation of the company at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016.

The "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC is set in Cloud City, where much of the "Star Wars" original film "Empire Strikes Back" took place. The Bespin DLC has four new maps.

The heroes for this DLC will be none other than the schemer-hero and Han Solo's good friend Lando Calrissian, the Baron-Administrator of Cloud City who was of great help to the heroes.

The second one is Dengar, the cold-blooded bounty hunter, who fans also saw in action in "Empire Strikes Back." EA DICE lead designer Dennis Brannvall has teased what to expect from the character in the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Bespin DLC.

EA promises that in the "Star Wars: Battlefront" Bespin DLC, "You'll see AT-ATs in Cloud City, take to the skies in Fighter Squadron, and even spend time in a carbonite chamber. Of course, we're also adding more blasters and Star Cards, a new game mode."
