'Star Wars Battlefront' DLC release date news 2016: More features to be unveiled on May 4

Electronic Arts is expected to unveil a bunch of exciting new game features for their popular video game "Star Wars Battlefront." The game, inspired by the "Star Wars" franchise created by George Lucas, is going to include many updates that will be tacked during the special May 4 event. One of the expected highlights of the May 4 event is the upcoming DLC expansion pack of "Star Wars Battlefront" entitled "Bespin."

The successful game developer company has revealed their lineup of activities in the forthcoming "Star Wars" event on Wednesday. Those who are using the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC gaming platforms are in for huge surprises once they attend the special "Star Wars" celebration, according to the news website Yibada. Aside from the game feature teasers, EA will also formally share the details of the "Bespin" DLC. The new DLC content pack is going to introduce a new planet, Hutt Contracts and a playable "Star Wars" hero.

"Bespin" will be featuring a new gaming arena called the Cloud City with other exciting game contents associated with the new location. There is a total of four fresh maps associated with the "Bespin" game update, together with the AT-AT bouts at the Cloud City, an all-new Fighter Squadron gameplay, and carbonite chamber exploration. Also, the hero Lando Calrissian can now be played once the DLC pack arrives.

During the May 4th event, the gamers will be given over 4,444 credits as a reward for attending the event. The credits can be used by the players to purchase many items such as the new blasters, Star Cards and Hutt Contracts. PlayStation Lifestyle reported that Electronic Arts will be encouraging the gamers to use their credits amounting to 3,500-8,000 for the unlocking of the Bacta Bomb Star Card, which can be used to gain more powerful health boost for themselves and their allies.

Lastly, the PC players who will attend the event will have four-hour free trial of the new "Star Wars Battlefront" DLC add-on, according to PC Gamer.
