If the rumors are anything to go by, the gamers can expect "Tekken 7" to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platform in the early months of 2017. Although it is expected that the game will first be released in PlayStation 4 console before the Xbox One and PC versions. A known game enthusiast in Twitter with the username Wonkey recently tweeted an update  , stating that the "Tekken 7" release in PlayStation 4 will be in February 2017.

While there are many fans that became thrilled after Wonkey's update on "Tekken 7," there are also some who remain skeptical about Wonkey's source of information, WCCF Tech reported. Also, Bandai Namco has not yet made an official announcement regarding the release date of the game, so it is better to take every report for now with a gran of salt. For now, "Tekken 7" is available as an arcade game across the globe.

Meanwhile, Segment Next reported that "Tekken 7" will feature a 4K/60-frames-per-second resolution upon its release. This is according to the new gameplay video for "Tekken 7" showing an improved graphics compared to its predecessor. It is likely that the 4k display feature of the game was made possible by the recently released NVIDIA GTX 1080.

As for the new characters in "Tekken 7," the recent Gamescom 2016 event featured a very interesting character named Lee Chaolan. He is presented as the adopted child of Heihachi Mishima,  although the character was never mentioned in the previous "Tekken" installments in spite of him being a part of the Mishima family. Game N Guide reported that Lee Chaolan will be an adversary for both Heihachi and Kazuya Mishima as he believes they are the ones that caused him pain throughout the years.
