The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of "Tekken 7" will be playable during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 next month, according to the latest report.

No concrete information about this has been provided, although it is expected that since it's been more than a year since the arcade version was released, even just a glimpse of the console versions might be ready.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has been mum about the development of the console versions of "Tekken 7," but he has outlined some big plans about the title when it makes a splash in the PS4 and Xbox One.

"When the game makes the leap from arcades to console, it will be the most complete and enhanced version up to date," Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada told Destructoid.

He added that there will be a special treat for the players of the Sony console as well, which is believed to be in the form of added PlayStation Virtual Reality (VR) functionality for "Tekken 7."

After that announcement, Harada and Bandai Namco itself have been silent about the "Tekken 7" PS4 and Xbox One. Fans have been rummaging for details ever since.

If the latest word is true, the console versions of "Tekken 7" might be featured in some way, shape or form during the E3 happening June 14 to 16. Gamers could only hope that a release date announcement will be made there too.

"Tekken 7" first hit the arcades in Japan in February last year with another wave dropping the following month. An update to the game called "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" has been announced not long after.

This update is rumored to be Bandai Namco's inspiration for the "Tekken 7" PS4 and Xbox One. It will be seen in action in the upcoming Evolution Championship Series or EVO on July 16 to 17 in Las Vegas.

"Tekken 7" will also be playable in the upcoming MCM London Comic-Con in the UK from May 27 to 29 at the London's Royal Victoria Dock. This marks the first time the game will be playable in the region.
