More details are getting revealed regarding the latest fighting video game from Bandai Namco, "Tekken 7." The latest installment in the highly popular "Tekken" game franchise is expected to be released in the early months of 2017. As early as now, Bandai Namco has started to reveal the additional gameplay contents in "Tekken 7," as well as the old and new faces that are going to be included in the roster of playable characters.

Long-time "Tekken" players might be familiar with the infamous Hong Kong policeman and martial arts specialist, Lei Wulong. Lei has already been a huge part of the game series since the character was first introduced in "Tekken 2." The character does not always make it to the roster in every "Tekken" installment, although the previous "Tekken 6" video game has Lei in the lineup. So far for "Tekken 7," there are no definite reports that the fighter will be in the latest roster as well.

However, as reported by Yibada, there is a chance that even though Lei would not make it to the final list of playable characters in "Tekken 7," he will be added in the game as the first DLC character. Bandai Namco game producer Katsuhiro Harada have hints that Lei can still be a part of "Tekken 7" as an additional DLC character. Harada revealed that the reason why Lei was not included as an original part of the roster is because of the low usage of the character among the players. So far, there is still no confirmation whether Lei will not be a part of the main roster, or ife he will end up being an add-on fighter in the future game updates.

For now, the only confirmed old-timer fighters in the "Tekken 7" roster are Jin, Kazuya, Heihachi, Hwoarang, Steve Fox, Lars Alexanderson, Alisa, Asuka, Lili, King, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, Lee, Nina, Bryan Fury, Leo, Feng Wei, Yoshimitsu, Xiaoyu, Dragunov, Bob and Devil Jin. Earlier this year, the newcomers such as Katarina Alves, Claudio Serafino and Josie Rizal were also confirmed to be in the game.

Meanwhile, the latest trailer for "Tekken 7" reveals the return of Miguel Caballero Rojo, who is seen as a vengeful fighter who will stop at nothing to punish the Mishima clan for what they did to his sister, Game Spot reported. The character was first introduced in "Tekken 6," but the players can expect a different aspect of Miguel's personality and skills in the latest installment.
