The trailer for "The Affair" season 3 has finally been released, treating fans a look at the complicated aftermath of Scott's (Colin Donnell) death.

This season is set three years after Noah (Dominic West) was sent to prison for the crime. Everyone is convinced he did it, which is why Helen (Maura Tierney) has her daughter baffled when she sides with Noah.

"I know you think you know everything but you don't. He made some mistakes," Helen tells her. "Mistakes, mom he's a murderer," she said in reply.

"Just because he was convicted doesn't mean he's guilty," Helen emphasized. At some point in "The Affair" season 3 trailer, Helen is shown visiting Noah in prison.

She was even shown asking him about their relationship, which baffles Noah himself. The new season is not looking like it will see them together again anytime soon.

As announced months back, "The Affair" season 3 will see Noah with another woman—Juliette Le Gall to be played by Irene Jacob, who will help him find himself again and get past the trauma.

However, as great as she will be with Noah, Juliette has her own secrets, which, in turn, might affect what they have in the long run.

With regards to Alison (Ruth Wilson), her past continues to creep back in and she is now faced with losing her own daughter in "The Affair" season 3.

Cole (Jackson) and Luisa (Catalina Sandino Moreno) are looking to take her daughter away from her as they build their own future.

"The Affair" season 3 is expected to be another explosive season for the hit series. Apart from Jacob, other stars to expect include Jennifer Esposito, who will reprise her role as Noah's sister Noah in several episodes.

Brendan Fraser also makes his Hollywood comeback in "The Affair" season 3 for a recurring role that is still being kept secret.

"The Affair" season 3 will premiere on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 10 p.m. EDT on Showtime.
