After taking a huge step in their relationship in the previous season, are Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) moving in together in the upcoming season 10 of "The Big Bang Theory"?

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Steve Molaro said that there are "big experiments" in store for the couple in the new season and that cohabitation is one of these. To get Sheldon to agree to moving in together, Amy will reportedly have to coax her beau into it by framing the proposal in scientific terms.

"It's not a trick, he's aware of what's happening," Molaro said. "Everyone will have all the apprehensions of whatever they're gonna feel and they'll work their way through it like they have for the last six years," he added.

But while Amy and Sheldon moving in together full time may be a huge step for the two, Molaro emphasized that it won't affect the core of the CBS sitcom.

"I think there are ways that we can experiment and the show [will] still very much feel like the show," the "Big Bang Theory" boss said. "At the end of the day, as long as those people are gathered in that living room to hang out and eat dinner, I think it will always be the show," he continued.

EW also noted that Amy and Sheldon cohabiting could pave the way for Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) to live together following their marriage in season 9.

Meanwhile, The Sun may have the details on the alleged "Big Bang Theory" cast salaries for season 10.

According to the outlet, Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco, the show's principal cast members, will supposedly get $1 million each per episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 10. The rest of the cast, which includes Bialik, Simon Helberg (Howard), Kunal Nayyar (Raj) and Melissa Rauch (Bernadette), will make considerably less.

Helberg and Nayyar will reportedly make $750,000 per episode while Bialik and Rauch will earn $100,000 per episode. This is despite all seven cast members appearing in an equal amount of scenes.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 debuts on Monday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
