'The Walking Dead' season 7 spoilers: Ezekiel and his pet tiger Shiva will step into 'The Walking Dead' scene

"The Walking Dead" season 6 was capped with a much hyped cliffhanger which avid viewers had a difficult time recovering from. As the seventh season draws nearer, fans' excitement over getting their well-deserved answers increases just as well.

The upcoming season of "The Walking Dead" will witness the expansion and exploration of other parts of the show's setting. There will also be the presentation of new characters. One of them will be Ezekiel, accompanied by his tigress named Shiva.

New updates involving the casting of Ezekiel complete with his ferocious pet ensued when The Spoiling Dead Fans posted on Facebook about this recent development on "The Walking Dead" season 7 filming, which in turn caused quite a stir on the web.

"The Walking Dead" fan page recently updated its status saying that the production was going to shoot for the third episode and that it is expected to be back to the Atlanta studios for the filming of scenes at Ezekiel's community The Kingdom. The statement went on to reveal that the new cast member just arrived although the actor to portray Ezekiel has yet to be identified. It was also according to the fan page that Shiva will be represented via a combination of animatronics and computer generated imagery (CGI).

The Spoiling Dead Fans is a Facebook page known for disseminating spoilers and updates concerning "The Walking Dead." It is where fans virtually meet to consolidate alleged firsthand reports and photos from actual filming locations of "The Walking Dead."

In the comic book series, Ezekiel is the head who oversees the place called The Kingdom which houses another group of survivors. During the pre-apocalyptic era, he was a zoo caretaker who had attended to Shiva since she was born. As Ezekiel takes good care of her, Shiva in turn keeps her master safe and away from some zombies and a couple of enemies.

"The Walking Dead" fans will find out how Ezekiel and Shiva will be brought to life in the TV series and how their depiction and fate will differ from that in the comic books.
