The official unveiling of Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs 2" will be on June 8 as announced on the video game's official website and social media pages.

While video game developer and publisher Ubisoft already admitted that the first "Watch Dog" has its flaws in spite of the generally good feedback, the company has vowed to take note of the concerns and address these issues. They might have very well done so and integrated changes and improvements to "Watch Dogs 2" while taking into consideration the reviews for its predecessor.

The likelihood of a new setting and a new lead character will not only mean that the new "Watch Dogs" will be better than the first installment but also make bigger and greater the world that it belongs to. This will allow for a much more interesting gaming and storytelling premise.

"Watch Dogs" is an open world action-adventure shooter video game that follows the journey of vigilante hacking expert Aiden Pearce as he tries and gains control over the city's computer system. The environment of the game is a huge open city. The game features the ability to hack into the mobile devices of passersby that channel to side missions while the mutiplayer feature allows for players to be able to raid each other's game. There's also the introduction of the second screen functionality through which the players could interact in the video game by way of tablets and smartphones.

Meanwhile, a leak about the new protagonist of the upcoming "Watch Dogs 2" has been making rounds on the web. The tweet has included a screen cap of an Instagram post of an actor going by the name Cort King, who claims to be the new lead actor of the upcoming "Watch Dogs 2."

It is not very clear though if he refers to himself as the voice actor or the motion capture actor for the new protagonist. The image is that of a man wearing a baseball hat and horn-rimmed eyeglasses. He is also holding a mobile phone in one hand and a gun in the other. The truth to this leak is yet to be confirmed.

It will only be a very short while until "Watch Dogs" fans will get to see what the highly anticipated sequel of the game will have to offer.
