Still one of the biggest names in professional wrestling, John Cena has carved a long and legendary career that seems to go on and on.

He has held multiple championships, has had excellent rivalries with other top stars, and is going to forever be known as one of the best the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has ever had.

However, Cena is now reportedly ready to avoid the spotlight the WWE offers and it will give the chance for others to make names for themselves in the industry.

Cena lost to AJ Styles at the WWE Summerslam and was out of the television screen for some time.

He recently made a return and is now feuding with Styles and Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Championship.

However, some talks are linking Cena to be out of wrestling after their coming match at WWE No Mercy as he is set to concentrate on other matters.

The report revealed that Cena will be shooting "American Grit" after the pay-per-view event of the WWE, which will need him to be out of action for an extended period of time.

Needless to say, Cena's last appearance will be at the SmackDown Live show after WWE No Mercy.

There is still no news on when he can possibly return but he is still billed as part of the WWE Survivor Series in November.

Cena already has a following and a legacy no matter how often he is on screen. He may return at any time and be in the thick of the action exactly like how he is being pushed for the title with Styles and Ambrose.

However, many are hoping that Cena will only be out for a limited time as he is still one of the better wrestlers in the industry and people always either cheer or boo loudly when Cena is walking down the aisle.
