The creator of one of the most popular space exploration video games today, "Adr1ft," has been getting the ire of the fans, especially those who are using the Xbox One console, as he revealed that the game will no longer be released in Microsoft's gaming console.

The game creator of "Adr1ft," Adam Orth, recently revealed in his tweet that the fans can no longer expect the Xbox One version of the game title in the near future. As reported by Game N Guide, the reception of the fans on Orth's Twitter update was not very good, and this even caused Orth to have a heated exchange with one of the "Adr1ft" fans who are very disappointed by the news.

Earlier, "Adr1ft" was slated to be released in all PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, as well as in PC platform. Three One Zero, the group behind the highly popular first person adventure game in which Orth is one of the founder, confirmed that "Adr1ft" will have a game version for the Xbox One. However, Orth's statement has changed everything, leaving fans to enjoy the game in PS4 and desktop PC.

As reported by IGN, 505 Games, the publisher of "Adr1fts," has not yet commented on the Xbox One version's cancellation. There is no confirmed reports yet regarding Orth pulling out the game from the Xbox console, although certain rumors suggest that it has something to do with the game creator's rift with Microsoft.

As reported by News Everyday, Orth has some personal issues and differences with Microsoft that led him to separate from the company. It is not known what these issues are exactly, but this could be the reason why Orth is no longer pushing through with the game's release in Microsoft's flagship console.

Meanwhile, the online publication also noted that as of the meantime, there is no confirmation that the virtual reality gameplay of "Adr1ft" will be supported by PS4's PlayStation VR headset. The VR feature of the game is currently available on the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive.
