Many are expecting Apple to go big on their releases come September. Rumor has it that the Cupertino-based company will launch several devices including the next generation flagship smartphone iPhone 7, the iPad Pro Mini and the highly anticipated iPad Mini 5.

According to a report by PC Advisor, Apple has already planned to have a September launching for the upcoming iPad Mini 5. The publication has based their prediction on the fact that the last iteration of the popular tablet was launched on Sept. 9 last year.

Many fans expected the American tech company to announce the next generation iPad Mini tablet at the recently concluded Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC 2016, which happened last month. However, fans were left disappointed after Apple decided to skip the handheld device during the event.

According to reports, there will be no significant changes between the current iPad Mini 4 and the rumored iPad Mini 5. The new tablet is said to have the same Retina display and the screen size will also remain the same at 7.9 inches. However, Apple will make sure to avoid any Bend-gate incident in the future by putting a more durable aluminum body on the new iPad Mini 5.

There are speculations suggesting that the upcoming device will arrive with a pre-installed iOS 10. The new Apple operating system was unveiled during the WWDC event. There are reports saying that the new iPad Mini 5 may have a waterproofing technology because it will carry a 1P68 protection.

Other rumored features include an 8MP primary camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing snapper. The device will run on an Apple A8 processor and M8 motion co-processor.

As of now, Apple has yet to confirm these reports; however, many fans are eager to know what the new iPad Mini 5 brings to the table once it hits the market.
