Last year, the Cupertino-based company revealed a new iPad line dubbed as the iPad Pro. Before the first quarter of 2016 ended, Apple released an upgraded but smaller version of the device known as iPad Pro 9.7.

Despite the heavy rumors that a new iPad Pro iteration will be launched in September, some industry observers doubt that the company will release the device this year. According to them, it is highly unlikely for Apple to release the new iPad Pro 2, six months after the rollout of iPad Pro 9.7.

There are also speculations circulating online suggesting that the iPad Pro 2 will instead be launched during the springtime of 2017. There are also rumors saying that Apple is also planning to release another iteration of the iPad Mini line.

According to a report by PC Advisor, the American tech giant may release two variants of iPad Pro in 2017 – the smaller and larger versions. However, these reports have yet to be confirmed by the company.

Meanwhile, fans and critics are predicting a more powerful iPad Pro will come out either in September this year or early 2017. There are speculations saying that the new tablet will have the ability to record 4K videos. The device is expected to sport a 12 MP iSight camera, which is capable of capturing live photos. However, there are rumors suggesting that the new iteration will retain the same storage options.

Nonetheless, According to Mac World, fans are hoping that Apple will improve the other features of the device including the keyboard accessory, which has received negative feedbacks from consumers.

As of the moment, Apple has yet to provide significant information regarding its development and release date.
