The upcoming iPhone iterations have been subjects of several rumors and speculations all over the internet for a few months now. It was already reported that the next generation of iPhone will mirror the current iPhone 6s. However, many fans and tech observers believe that Apple will develop the upcoming iPhone 8 with a complete design overhaul.

Next year will be huge for the Cupertino-based company as it celebrates the 10th year anniversary of its flagship smartphone. Ever since the first iPhone came out in 2007, Apple has consistently re-introduced its aesthetic every two years. However, if the rumors about the upcoming iPhone 7 prove to be true, this will be the first time that the company will stay with the same design for three straight years.

Nonetheless, Apple fanatics believe that although the iPhone 7 will arrive with a similar exterior design like its predecessors, the specifications under the hood will certainly present some improvements.

Meanwhile, there have been speculations suggesting that the iPhone 8 will become the best smartphone Apple has ever made. It said to carry an edgeless display along with its powerful specs and features.

The rumored device is said to feature an organic light-emitting diode or OLED display technology. According to the latest reports, the smartphone will no longer have the home button. The fingerprint sensor will no longer be a part of the new iPhone 8 designs since it will be integrated as part of the display itself.

There are also reports saying that the reason why the upcoming iPhone 7 will not get the OLED display is because the development of the technology will not be ready for the rumored September release of the handset.

Another interesting rumor has emerged stating that the upcoming iPhone 8 will have a futuristic design.
