Arizona Cardinals news: Cardinals must overcome slow start

Heading into the 2016 National Football League season, many considered the Arizona Cardinals as one of the best teams in the league. So far, however, they have unfortunately not done enough to show for it.

An underwhelming 1-2 record so far this season, the Cardinals find themselves at the bottom of the NFC West standings. They have a similar record to the San Francisco 49ers but this is nowhere people expected them to be.

On Sunday, the Cardinals were beaten by the Buffalo Bills 33-18 and this has resulted in questions regarding what is happening to the team.

At the moment, it is believed that the Cardinals are trying to work through some problems and finding solutions to issues that should not have been present in the first place.

According to reports, the Cardinals have some locker room problems. This results in mental errors, slow starts coming out of half time, and too many alphas in the locker room.

These are worrisome sights for a team looking at Super Bowl rings, especially when their leader, quarterback Carson Palmer, is not performing at his best. He had a poor game against the Bills as he threw four interceptions and was sacked five times.

These issues should be immediately addressed by the Cardinals or else they risk throwing away the season.

The Cardinals should try and learn that their success is greatly dependent on the performance of Carlson.

In their loss against the Patriots and Bills, Carlson played poorly and his performance was nothing compared to their Week 2 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

When they won against the Buccaneers, Palmer threw for over 300 yards and converted on three touchdowns. He did not surrender any interception and finished with a 124.9 QB rating.

The season is only beginning but all teams know that every win counts. Palmer and the Cardinals should regroup quickly and turn things around.
