Looking to climb back to the top half of the standings in the NFC West, the Arizona Cardinals are making moves in their roster.

Not limited to their main squad, the Cardinals have been reported to shake up the practice squad as well. According to Arizona Sports, quarterback Zac Dysert was signed to the team's practice roster.

The 26-year-old QB was part of the active roster for the Cardinals in their 33-21 win over the San Francisco 49ers, but he was eventually released. However, he was brought back as he probably fits the smaller role in the franchise to give the main squad a fitting opponent during practice.

It is still uncertain how long Dysert will be kept this time, but there are hopes that he will remain with the practice squad, and possibly make the main team again, for the rest of the campaign.

Meanwhile, the team has also re-signed another player. Running back Kerwynn Williams is now part of the main roster. Williams is taking the spot opened up by Dysert's move to the practice squad, and hopefully Williams will make an impact with the team as they try to improve.

At 25 years old, Williams has been in and out of practice squads in the league since being drafted in the seventh round by the Indianapolis Colts in 2013.

The Cardinals are 3-3 in the 2016 season so far, tied for second with Los Angeles Rams. They are only behind the Seattle Seahawks, while they are ahead of the stumbling 49ers.

The Cardinals are still considered as one of the stronger teams in the league, and their slow start is quite surprising.

However, they still have enough time to make up for their lackluster performances.

In the coming week, the Cardinals are scheduled to face the New York Jets at home before facing off against division rivals the Seahawks on Oct. 23.
