Oliver (Stephen Arnell) returns to Russia for an important mission on the upcoming episode of "Arrow" season 5.

Titled "Bratva," next week's episode will see Oliver reunite with a person from his past. According to the official synopsis, Oliver, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and the rest of Team Arrow jet off to Russia for a new mission. The group later meets up with Anatoly (guest star David Nykl), Oliver's old friend.

Meanwhile, after completing his time in rehab, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) drops by the mayor's office as he prepares to get back to work. Susan (guest star Carly Pope) asks Lance for an interview to discuss his addiction and recovery, but he balks, so Rene (guest star Rick Gonzalez) must take action and keep things on track.

Solntsevskaya Bratva, also known as the Bratva, is a powerful Mafia organization in Russia, and one of its highest-ranking members is Oliver Queen, who is a captain. He received a special position in the organization because earlier in the series, he saved one of the Bratva's leaders, Anatoly Knyazev, from Anthony Ivo back when he was on Lian Yu. Anatoly introduced Oliver to the Bratva godfather, Ishmael Gregor, who sent him on a mission to take down Konstantin Kovar's criminal group.

Wednesday's episode confirmed what many had already suspected: the new character, Tina Boland (Juliana Harkavy), was, in fact, Dinah Drake. In the DC comics, she went on to become the original Black Canary. The 11th episode saw her accepting Oliver's offer to join the team as the new Black Canary. Next week, the show is expected to debut Dinah in costume and in the field with her new teammates.

The fifth season of "Arrow" airs every Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
